Embedded within the community and geographically spread across a variety of host organisations, from universities to national agencies, the JISC Advance services are engaged with a range of work in partnership with other international, national and regional bodies and learning providers.
Against this background of sector engagement, the services provide tools and techniques to optimise the use of technologies and media within the sector, whether for management and administration; learning, teaching and research; or external engagement.
Using real-life sector experiences through case study exemplars, synthesising advice and guidance from programmes and national agencies and pointing to innovation work, we offer practices shaped by the UK education sector to demonstrate how technology can be utilised to ultimately improve the learning experience.
