Why FAM has gone to Iceland

Nicole Harris, Federated Access Management Focus as JISC Advance, will be appearing as plenary speaker at the TNC (Terena Networking Conference) in Reykjavik on Tuesday 22 May.

Her session, titled ‘Oh! The Places You'll Go! Identity Management and the Online Journey’, explores the progression of online security from cryptology to open source.  She will also be discussing how research and education can stay secure whilst up to date.

Nicole has worked on Access Management in the education sector for 15 years and recently set up a new home for the Shibboleth Consortium.  She also works closely with REFEDS allowing her a great overview of the sector.

The whole event is broadcast live so for those unlucky enough not to be going, catch Nicole’s talk online - https://tnc2012.terena.org/
