"We had the idea of developing a ‘HackFest’ - a Mobile Learning Project that challenged young people to bring their entrepreneurial business ideas to a workshop that would show them how to turn their idea into a Mobile Application. JISC Advance supported the project by providing the technology expertise.
We developed a close working relationship with JISC Advance's advisors who provided the technical ‘know how’ in a bespoke workshop session for the students. The session provided a practical demonstration of how technology could be used as a lever to facilitate business ideas and provided an opportunity for the students to create mock ups of their Mobile Apps.
JISC Advance helped the project to be a great success and the students will be pitching their ideas in the Peter Jones Foundation Boardroom."
